You have seen the signs. Simple, easy-to-read messages in white type against a black board, all with quotes ‘signed’ by God. The GODSPEAKS campaign began in 1998 when an anonymous donor contacted an advertising agency with an idea for a local billboard campaign that would get people thinking about God. The donor wanted no logo, address, website, or phone number published. He wanted just straight forward messages that would rightly represent the God of the Bible. Their intention was to spark thoughts in readers’ minds about God and His great love for them.
The campaign caught on and expanded, and as a result, GODSPEAKS messages have appeared on over 10,000 billboards in 200 cities across America, all free of charge, with donated space valued at $15 million. The campaign has attracted media attention everywhere. Print and broadcast media were intrigued with the sayings, and perhaps more intrigued that someone would invest in a campaign without wanting anything in return. “Who was this anonymous client?” they asked. But they would never find out as the donor chose to remain anonymous and keep the attention focused on God.
GODSPEAKS has since launched subsequent campaigns throughout the years with the hope of reaching even more people with messages ‘signed’ by God. Though the words on the boards have changed since the 90’s, the underlying message has not. GODSPEAKS wants people around the world to know that God loves them, He values them, and He wants a relationship with them forever.

GOD LOVES YOU.
God created the universe. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and abounding in love.
God also created you. He wants you to know Him and the unchanging love He has for you.
But there’s a problem. We’ve all sinned. We’ve thought and done things that fall short of God’s perfect plan for us. The Bible says that sin separates us from God, who is holy and good. Knowing we would choose to sin, God created a solution.
God sent His only son Jesus to make all things right. Jesus lived a perfect life. He healed people, He loved them, and He taught them about God. But sadly, many people rejected Jesus. They put Him to death like a common criminal on a cross of wood. Jesus knew what He was doing. He willingly went to the cross. In fact, He knew it was God’s plan for Him to go to the cross. It was the only way to make our relationship right with God. He would pay the penalty for our sin.
Jesus died so we could live. When He died, He willingly took the sins of the world—yours and mine—and paid the penalty in our place. But the story doesn’t end there!
Three days after He was buried in a tomb, God raised Jesus back to life. This one miraculous act showed the whole world that Jesus had the power to conquer the grave. He now is able to give us everlasting life in Heaven with Him.
To receive God’s free gift of love, we must receive His Son Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Then—because of Jesus’ sacrifice—we have the right to become children of God.
There is no other way around it. Jesus made it clear. In the Bible He said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6).

“Lord Jesus, I believe you are the One and Only Son of God. I believe you died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins. I believe you came back to life on the third day. I believe you can forgive my sins and make me right with God. I invite you into my life right now. I want to follow you as my Savior and Lord. Thank you.”
